From my very first contact with Frontpoint reps, they have been professional, courteous and responsive. When I had some reservations, they sent free equipment to make things easier. All the equipment has worked perfectly and when there were small initial issues, they walked us through correcting the problem immediately. They are very upfront about the contract being 3 years. Was told an alarm was triggered at my home while driving . I told the dispatcher to call the police. He put a supervisor on who REFUSED TO CALL THEM ! I was shocked after calling 911 I was told only the alarm company can call police in Palm Beach Fl . Meanwhile i thought my home was being burglarized. The security company Frontpoint Security lied to me on our initial interview saying that I was signing up for a TWO YEAR CONTRACT. Our initial conversation was recorded on my answering machine. When I signed up over the telephone, all was well and I always paid on time every month with an automatic debit.. BIG MISTAKE .. UNTIL I tried to cancel the two year was up. I have a hearing problem and use a hearing aid. Other alarm companies that I have used are loud enough that I could hear them. This alarm is high pitched and quiet and I am unable to hear it. Called to see if the alarm could be made louder and was told this was not possible and I would have the option of having flashing lights and sirens installed. This is a bit overload. I am using this front point security system from 2012, I was sticking with 1 year contract, after a year I was not in a position to pay my bills, so disconnected. Again in 2014 I renewed for 1 year contract and they sent me an updated equipment for my panel, Charged me $46.54 Monthly for monitoring. The faulty water sensor did not set the alarm when my basement flooded while we were out-of-town for over a month. Came home to find out mold all over the basement and every furniture and artwork on the wall was green and smelly. I've had the system for almost 2 1/2 years, everything up to this point has been great. The sales, equipment, and customer service has been great..... Every now and then I would call just to do a check to make sure everything still was OK with the monitoring and was assured it was.....
