*** service reps. Simple as that. Filled out the quote request form after hours when we were closed. Their greedy reps called 5-8 times in a span of 10 minutes not listening to our message that we were closed and refused to leave a message. Just kept calling and calling and calling. My goodness, I am reading some of these complaints and am totally shocked! I have not once had ANY issues with Frontpoint, in fact, I am a totally satisfied customer. Let me give you some examples... Recently my credit card was compromised with the Target fiasco. I advised Frontline I no longer want automatic charges to a credit card or a checking account. Now they advise me I have a 36 month contract that I signed which I did not but they tell me an e-signature constitutes my agreement having said that I still need to agree to agree to it. I have spent at least 30 hours in the past 11 months troubleshooting security issues that arise with my system. This morning my system suddenly disarmed itself. This is the first public expression of frustration with FrontPoint security. In addition to being charged for months @ over $42 dollars a month, for equipment sent to me that didn't work, empty promises from FrontPoint to remedy the initial problem (equipment arrival time), they now are insisting they need to keep charging my account monthly when I have had NO protection from them on my home. I just felt I had to reply to all the complaints about fees for cancelling contracts. When you sign a multi year contract with FrontPoint you receive discounts upfront on your equipment. These discounts are a couple hundred dollars, but you are locked in for 3 years. That's the risk you take signing a contract like that. It's kind of common sense. Terrible equipment. Our "mother board" has a buzzing sound so we have to turn the volume down low and probably wouldn't hear it if someone broke in. It Looks cheap and is embarrassing. Now we have to pay $515 to get out of contract. I do understand contracts so that is not what upsets me. I just hate being charged for ***. There monthly payment is high. I was atracted to frontpoint home monitoring services due to the lower cost of the initial monitoring equipment. I believe that they gave me a panel with a market cost of $300.00, no hardwire installation. After a year my husband got a $35,000 pay cut and we were trying to lower our expenses. Frontpoint is horrible the sensors keep falling off, and I just learned they buy their reviews from Yelp.com I tried to turn it, and they told me that my 30 days was up, but the rep told me that I can return it up to 60 days, and he will extend my trial period out. Horrible it's the same equipment as protect america. What they do is pay for reviews. They conned me. They are overpriced, and they *** you into reviews. When you call them, all they will do is rant and rave about their reviews.
